Shelly Ann Melendez is an associate in Reilly, McDevitt & Henrich’s Cherry Hill, New Jersey office. Her practice currently focuses on defending claims involving premises liability, property coverage, and product liability. Shelly also has experience handling and advising employment law matters, including defending discrimination allegations, Family Medical Leave Act claims, and providing counsel in hiring, training, and separation procedures.

Shelly earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School, where she was active with the Minority Student Program and the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. She earned her Master of Education from Grand Canyon University and her B.A. from the University of California Los Angeles.

Prior to earning her J.D., Shelly served as an All-Source Intelligence Analyst with the United States Army and deployed to Afghanistan as part of Regional Command East with the 101^st Airborne Division.

She currently serves as an Assistant Vice Chair for the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Military and Veterans Affairs Committee, and the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Military Affairs Committee. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Minority Bar Committee and the Minority Bar Membership Development Committee.
